As we get started with our mission, we are hiring a Full Stack Engineer who would join Budy as a founding member and join us on this exciting journey.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Proven Experience: Over 10 years of hands-on full stack development experience, evidenced by a robust portfolio showcasing significant contributions to front-end and back-end technologies.

​

Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in front-end technologies and back-end languages, along with a solid understanding of server-side frameworks. Avid reader of new technology trends.

​

Data Management: Strong capabilities/understandings in managing databases, with proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL technologies, ensuring efficient data flow between servers and users.

​

System Architecture: Skilled in the design, development, and deployment of complex web applications, with an understanding of the architectural patterns needed for large-scale web services.

​

API Development and Integration: Experienced in crafting and utilizing different API types, along with integrating third-party services to enhance application functionality.

 

Problem-Solving: Most important amongst technical skills is to have an outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities, demonstrated by a history of tackling intricate technical challenges and ideally delivering scalable, resilient solutions.

Continuous Learning: A commitment to lifelong learning, staying ahead of the curve with the latest full-stack development trends, practices, and technologies.

​

Founders' Mentality & Hacker Spirit: Since this position is apart of Budy's founding team, it is important to have a founder mentality and a strong inclination to build and innovate. We believe in the principle that the only law is the law of physics and everything else is just a recommendation. While not a must, previous founding team or high inclination to start something of their own is highly preferred.

Based in a dynamic WeWork in Palo Alto, we're looking for individuals either in the Bay Area or willing to relocate and to join a culture that's intentional yet open to change, fostering innovation and inclusivity.
