As we get started with our mission, we are hiring a Machine Learning Engineer who would join Budy as a founding member and join us on this exciting journey.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, data science, or a closely related field, with a strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate your expertise and impact.

​

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in programming languages commonly used in data science and machine learning, such as Python or R, and a deep understanding of ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy).

​

Data Management: Strong skills in data manipulation, visualization, and analysis, with experience in managing large datasets and using big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

​

Algorithm Development: Proficiency in developing, implementing, and fine-tuning machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.

​

System Integration: Experience integrating machine learning models into larger software systems or products, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

 

Problem-Solving: Most important amongst technical skills is to have an outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities, demonstrated by a history of tackling intricate technical challenges and ideally delivering scalable, resilient solutions.

Continuous Learning: A commitment to lifelong learning, staying ahead of the curve with the latest machine learning development trends, practices, and technologies (which we know is very tough to do especially with the current pace at which the field is evolving :).

​

Founders' Mentality & Hacker Spirit: Since this position is apart of Budy's founding team, it is important to have a founder mentality and a strong inclination to build and innovate. We believe in the principle that the only law is the law of physics and everything else is just a recommendation. While not a must, previous founding team or high inclination to start something of their own is highly preferred.
